Case study · DRCCMD 2026
Visitor and Queue System
Ministers, delegations and guests arrived at Palm Spring at the same time. Instead of a paper list and a long queue, every visitor carried a QR badge — one scan at the door, and the lobby screen welcomed them by name.

The problem
A ministerial dialogue means many important guests arriving at once, each one to be checked against the guest list and welcomed properly. A paper list at the door turns that into a queue — and nobody inside knows who has already arrived.
How it worked
Two paths at the door, one welcome. Visitors already in the system went straight to the scan; everyone else was registered on the spot.
Register on the spot
At the entrance, the welcome team registers anyone who isn't in the system yet — right there at the desk.

Every registered visitor carries an ID card with their own QR code.

IIQR Code ID cards One scan
Registered before the event or a minute ago, everyone meets the same moment: a phone scans the ID card and the visitor is checked in.

IIIA phone scans the ID card. Welcome on screen
The lobby screen greets the visitor by name and photo, then goes back to waiting for the next arrival.

Made by Inovtec
The Visitor and Queue System and the official DRCCMD and ASEAN Cooperative Expo website were built by Inovtec — my team. We ran the system on site through the event and saw the mission through to a successful finish.
